This session will examine institutional QA processes across Europe, and how they can be articulated with the development of a quality culture.

    The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion with the Chair of the session, the presenter, one university practitioner and one QA agency representative:

Participants will have a choice of a workshop, with duration of 90 minutes, or of two sessions with duration of 45 minutes each with a 15-minute break in between to allow the participants to move around.

14.00 – 15.30        Plenary session III: Learning outcomes – exploring the challenges to QA

What is the link between the learning outcomes, as described and used nowadays, and quality assurance? Whereas in some countries the learning outcomes are taken as a legislative basis for shaping the higher education landscape, this session will address practical issues to be faced on the field.

This session will allow participants to move around in the venue and network with their colleagues. Coffee will be available.

A “Corner of case practices” will serve as a meeting point for disseminating information on institutional practices across Europe. Participants are encouraged to submit, through the call for contributions, a proposal for hosting a stand in the Forum Café. The audience will be invited to visit this corner, walk around with coffee and chat with the stand holders.

A “Meet the keynote speakers” corner will allow all Forum participants to meet the keynote speakers. Participants will be welcome to ask questions, clarify points and hold informal exchanges with the keynote speakers.

The closing session will consist of an exchange of views on the discussions held during the previous days between the presidents of ENQA, EURASHE, EUA and ESU. The discussion will be introduced and facilitated by Bjorn Stensaker, Professor at the University of Oslo and academic advisor of the Forum Steering Committee.
