The conference seeks to attract all those who in are charge of strategic decision making in higher education learning and teaching, institutional senior lifelong learning practitioners, policy makers, representatives of national and local governments, and public and private employers who have an interest in promoting the LLL agenda.

Priority will be given to members of the project partners.

The conference seeks to achieve a balanced representation of experts on Lifelong Learning from across Europe. As a consequence, EUA reserves the right to refuse registrations if there are too many participants from any one country or from one institution. Priority will be given to those who register early. We will not be able to accept additional registrations once the event is full even if this occurs before the registration deadline. The registration deadline is 12 August 2011.

There is no registration fee to participate at the conference.

Please note, however, that you will need to cover your travel, accommodation and subsistence expenses. Sandwich lunches on 31 August and 1 September as well as food and beverages at the evening reception on 31 August will be provided to all participants by the SIRUS project.

Participation is limited and subject to approval. The registration will be confirmed by an email. Please wait for your confirmation before making any further arrangements.

Cancellations must be sent in writing to EUA by email: or by fax +32-2-230-57-51. Substitutes will be accepted at any time provided that EUA is informed of the change. In case you have hotel reservations, you will be fully responsible for cancellation and any costs that might occur with cancellation.

Neither EUA nor the University of Southampton will be liable for any losses, accidents or damage to persons or objects, regardless of the cause. Participants attend the conference and all related events at their own risk and responsibility.
