Thank you for sharing this page.

The Forum organisers regret to inform you that registration is now closed as maximum attendance has been reached.

The European Quality Assurance Forum (EQAF) provides a platform for discussion, professional development and exchange of experiences among the main stakeholders in quality assurance (QA). Specifically, the Forum will be of interest to rectors and vice-rectors responsible for QA, QA officers in higher education institutions, students, QA agency staff and researchers working on higher education or the QA field.

The Forum organisers will not be able to accept additional registrations once the event is full, even if this occurs before the registration deadline. In order to guarantee a certain balance between countries and institutions and due to the high number of registrations, we have to restrict attendance. Please note that therefore a maximum of five people per institution/organisation will be allowed to register. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Registration fees

The registration fee includes attendance at the Forum, access to all documentation, admission to coffee breaks and lunches at the Forum, and to the welcome reception. The name badge issued to you on registration is required for admission to your sessions, lunches and coffee breaks, as well as the social programme. You are kindly requested to wear your name badge at all times.

The Optional Conference Dinner which will take place on 14 November 2014 is not included in the registration fee. Participants who wish to attend it are invited to click the corresponding option in the registration form and will be asked to pay an additional 60 euro.

Companions (spouse/partner only) must be registered in advance. Name badges are required for admission to the Welcome Reception and both lunches and will be available for collection at the Registration Desk. If your companion attends the Optional Conference Dinner, please remember to bring the name badge as well. The registration fee for companions does not include the Optional Conference Dinner on Thursday 14 November (additional fee €60).

Registration fees paid by participants and their companions do not cover travel and accommodation expenses.

Please note that by filling in the registration form for an event you agree to full payment of registration fees. Your registration will be confirmed by email. Please wait for your confirmation before making any further arrangements.

Please note that if you want to benefit from the special accommodation rates, we recommend that you book as soon as possible. The deadlines vary from hotel to hotel. For more information about the hotel rates and deadlines, please visit the “Accommodation” page.

The local organisers cannot guarantee the special price or availability of rooms past the deadlines.

Payment must be made upon receipt of confirmation and prior to the Forum, either by bank transfer or credit card. Credit card payments can only be accepted if paying by Visa and Mastercard. The participant assumes full responsibility for paying all bank charges associated with the payment. You will receive further instructions on how to proceed with the payment as soon as your registration has been approved. Please note that the credit card option is only available during the online registration process, and you may not pay by different means later on. Cash payments are not possible.

Please bring the email confirming receipt of payment with you to the Forum for presentation at the registration desk.

Cancellations must be sent in writing to EUA by email: or by fax: +32 2 230 57 51. If a cancellation is received on or before 17 October 2014, the registration fee minus an administration charge of 30% will be refunded after the Forum. Participants who cancel after 17 October 2014, or fail to attend the Forum on the day, will be liable to pay the entire registration fee.
Substitutes will be accepted at any time, provided that EUA is informed of the change.

Neither EUA nor the host institution will be liable for any losses, accidents or damage to persons or objects, regardless of the cause. Participants and companions attend the Forum and all related events at their own risk and responsibility.
