UN Leadership Conference in Social Change, 2-6 August 2017, Bangkok

29 June 2017

1000 young leaders from more than 70 countries are expected to attend the 8th University Scholars Leadership Symposium organised by the United Nations in Bangkok, Thailand.

The University Scholars Leadership Symposium is a week-long leadership development training program.
The Program has been designed for young persons who are committed to making this world a much better place for the human race. The organizers, Humanitarian Affairs United Kingdom, are looking for those individuals who demonstrate strong leadership potential, those who have a genuine appreciation for different perspectives, and for individuals with diverse interests, backgrounds and ambitions.

They recognise the importance of nurturing creative thinkers and in grooming aspiring leaders. Their goal is for every delegate to experience activities that contribute to their holistic development and empower them to become an excellent global citizen.

As leaders and managers in different fields- whether business, government, education, and non-profit organizations, there is a need to develop one’s ability to motivate and influence those in future working environments. The leadership training will explore the unique strengths each delegate brings to their own leadership role, and enhance their skills in working with others.

Any interested individuals who would like to attend to the symposium, are welcome to fill in the delegate application form - available here – and to send it to myllane.kebir@humanitarianaffairs.org by Monday, 10 July 2017.
