Registrations open for UNI-SET Energy Clustering Event

03 December 2015

EUA has opened registrations for the first Energy Clustering Event organised in the context of the UNI-SET project. The event on the topic “Addressing the human resource challenge to build the future energy system” will take place on 24-26 February 2016 at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway.

The conference will offer insights into innovative energy research and education programmes from a multidisciplinary perspective through sharing of examples, lessons learnt and other best practices.

Participants will moreover contribute to develop a “Roadmap for Universities in Energy” as key organisations providing energy-related education, training and research. The main goal is to foster inter-university cooperation and to ensure a strong and coordinated voice in the development of energy policy at EU level (e.g. SET-Plan, Horizon 2020).

EUA has also launched a Call for Expressions of Interest through which participants can apply to share institutional approaches and experiences in tackling the “energy challenge” during the event.

Registration is free of charge. Universities participating in the ‘UNI-SET Universities Survey’ will be given priority (priority registration is open until 15 January 2016). General registration will close on 10 February 2016.

More information including registration and the Call for Expressions of Interest is available on the event website.
