Call for host: EQAF 2017 and 2018

14 January 2016

Since 2006, the European Quality Assurance Forum (EQAF), organised by EUA, ENQA, EURASHE and ESU, has become the premier event for quality assurance (QA) in Europe with more than 400 participants each year from across Europe and beyond.

EQAF-Logo-rgbThe main purpose of EQAF is to foster a dialogue on QA in higher education that bridges national boundaries and creates a common European understanding of the topic through the exchange of ideas and networking among different stakeholder groups. EQAF also provides participants with an opportunity for professional development and to update their knowledge.

Following a decade of successful EQAFs, the organisers are looking for universities to host the Forum in November 2017 and 2018. EUA would like to offer member universities the opportunity to help continue to make EQAF a memorable experience for a large number of stakeholders in European higher education, while gaining visibility for their own institution. Joint bids between universities and members of the other organising associations (quality assurance agencies, student unions and professional higher education institutions) are also welcome. The organisers would particularly like to encourage applications from universities in countries where EQAF has not previously been held.

Further details regarding the requirements for hosting the Forum can be found here. If you have any questions or would like to submit an expression of interest please contact The deadline for submitting full bids is 31 May 2016.
