Managing the Data Deluge, 5 May, London (UK)

09 March 2017

The EU-funded LEARN (LEaders Activating Research Networks) Project is organising the conference “Managing the Data Deluge: Roles and Responsibilities for your institution” on 5 May 2017 at Senate House in London.

The use and sharing of research data has changed the way research is undertaken. The conference endeavours to encourage researchers, research funders, publishers, research organisations and senior decision makers to explore their roles and responsibilities in this dynamic environment.

The purpose of the LEARN project, is to develop a coordinated e-infrastructure across Europe and beyond based on the LERU Roadmap for Research Data. The project, whose partners include EUA members University College London, University of Barcelona and University of Vienna, has produced a toolkit containing a collection of case studies and a model Research Data Management policy, along with guidance for its implementation at an institutional level.

Registration is open and more information can be found on the event website.
