The European Economic Area (EEA) and Norway Grants are opening a call for proposals for transnational projects under their Fund for Youth Employment. The objective of the fund is to contribute to the reduction of social and economic disparities in Europe.
The newly-established fund specifically aims to support transnational project initiatives that promote sustainable and quality youth employment.
Proposals are invited from the 16 EU countries in Central and Southern Europe and the Baltics. Italy, Ireland and Spain are also encouraged to form partnerships to apply for funding. Grants are available for non-governmental organisations, research and academic institutions and public and private sector bodies.
The total available funding is 60.6 million euros, and the amount of grant assistance within a project will be no less than one million euros. Further information regarding the application process, which will open next week, is available online.
