03 October 2017

The workshop is organised in the framework of the activities of the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, with the goal to develop a series of recommendations for actions to improve the effectiveness of European regional research and innovation funds, both at governance and operational levels.

It will take place on 17 October 2017 and is being kindly hosted by the University of Tartu. The workshop is the third in a series jointly organised by National Rectors’ Conferences and the European University Association in close cooperation with the EUA RIS3 Expert Group. Markku Markkula, First Vice-President of the European Committee of the Regions, is among the confirmed speakers for the event.
