    The call for contributions is now open for the 12th European Quality Assurance Forum (EQAF), which will be hosted in Riga by the University of Latvia from 23 to 25 November 2017.


    The USTREAM (Universities for Strategic, Efficient and Autonomous Management) project partners have launched a call inviting senior university managers and public administrators to participate in a series of peer learning seminars on various aspects of efficiency and effectiveness in the higher education context.


    EUA invites all European universities and higher education institutions to participate in the TRENDS 2018 survey. The eighth in the series, the EUA flagship initiative aims to map developments in Europe’s changing higher education landscape.


    There is still time to participate in the latest edition of the Open Access Survey. EUA members now have until 31 March 2017 to fill out the questionnaire. The goal is to develop a comprehensive view of the degree to which Open Access policies have been developed and implemented in European universities.


    On 28 February 2017, EUA took part in a meeting organised by EU Commissioner for Research Carlos Moedas on “Performance and further simplification” of the Horizon 2020 Programme.


    The deadline to participate in EUA’s 2017 Annual Conference on “Autonomy and freedom: The future sustainability of universities” is fast-approaching, with registration closing on 20 March. Hosted by the University of Bergen in Norway, the conference will take place on 6 and 7 April 2017.
